Little Surprises Like That
I’m not a handbag kind of girl. I tried to be but it was really hard and seemed to go against my very nature and so with a muttered underneath my breath when no one could hear me, “Screw you peer pressure to be a girl” I stopped. Consequently, now I’m the kind of girl who walks around with her whole life in her jean-pockets. And my new wallet is too fat to fit in my jean pockets. (No, no, I’m not a big spender. Its just fat with stuff I don’t need but think I need so I keep it). I even have an order. My phone in my right front pocket, change for taxis/boda-bodas in my left back , spending money and ipod in left front, and emergency money in my right back pocket.
….So this morning I woke up and got ready for work. The usual; hit the snooze button exactly three times (read: I might have slight OCD), got up, brushed teeth, took a bath, ironed my t-shirt and jeans (I’m an intern so I can wear whatever. Also evil looks from the secretaries can not harm me), and put the clothes on. Started stuffing my pockets in order of importance and it was abbreviated because, well, its near the end of the month and I’m broke. So my left front pocket was simply an ipod pocket due to no spending money, my emergency pocket was equally empty. I stuff my last 10,000 into my transport pocket and wait….what is that? My fingers feel the definite feel of a wad of paper? Did I leave someone’s business card in my jeans before they got washed again? Is it, could it possibly be money? I pull it out and yes! Yes! It is money! It’s not just a couple of a 1,000s either. It is most definitely like 80,000! Yes!....Bring on the Hallejulah chorus!......

the part bout not being "a handbag girl" and stuffing everythin u need to take with you into your pockets? that's so me. the part bout findin 80Gs randomly in said pockets? not in my lifetime...
