Confessions

I once forgot to turn my phone off on a plane. I realized this as the captain welcomed us, and told us to remain in our seats until the seatbelt light had gone off. That’s when I usually pull out my phone to turn it on. It already was.
People who have to be right amuse me. People who have to be right and then deny having to be right amuse me even more. They’re the kind of people, patience was made for.
If it wasn’t for my upbringing, I’d be one of those girls, the ones who like you to ask what’s wrong, and show concern, the ones who ask for advice and never take it. For a houseful of women, we didn’t have a very touchy feely situation going on. I was clothed, sheltered, could eat mostly whatsoever I desired, bandaged and iodined when I was wounded, and given almost every toy I wanted. There were no hugs and cuddles, no prolonged conversations about if I was ok. What I learned. Life is tough, People are busy. Speak plainly about what you want. That way you know superfast what needs to be done to get it, or if its completely out of the question. Result? I get the touchy feely concept, and could apply it but the work involved and the necessary emotions it needs are fatiguing.
I have this issue with personal space. It is mine. Do not violate it, unless we’re cool like that. Queueing in lines with the person behind you literally breathing down your neck is my least favourite activity. For those people who like to press up on people in lines, space dammit!!

I have an issue with men who wear the suit jacket with jeans. The dress shirt is uber cool, but why on earth would you add a suit jacket and tie?! Why traumatize my eyes?

REPLYAnd the suit thing, let's kill them.

REPLYI love my space.. thats why its called mine. If i dont know you, dont like you and worse if you dont even know my third name - keep to your side and i keep to mine
'speak plainly about what you want'...lol.. i like that.
funny enough i love my space but i'm also pretty touchy feely. but like you said i guess it depends on whether we're cool like that or not...
REPLYas for the suit jacket on jeans...i agree...to an extent...
I have no idea about what is fashionable or not so I am not even going to lie about dress shirts, et cetera. I came to say I love the post. And now I shall retreat to my own personal space area thingy.
