The Mulitpurpose Bra
Have you ever sat in a taxi and watched an impeccably dressed woman pull her ringing phone from her bra, take the call and then put it back? No? It’s priceless. Made my day. Spent my free time coming up with a back story. This is her third phone. The first two were both expensive, fancy and they both got stolen. So this is it. It’s a kino kika. It receives calls and messages. What else does she need? And for 65,000/= she won’t feel the pinch if it gets stolen, which it won’t. Because from now on, she is keeping her phone inside her bra. Anyone who goes to the trouble of reaching inside her shirt/dress for a 65k phone deserves it. She’ll even tell them to come up to her house to pick up the charger....
I love this city. Only here do I get to see bras being used as phone carriers. Is this why phones are becoming slimmer? Oooh. Its just a matter of time then before the new Motorola adverts are out. I can just see it, successful looking woman walking down a corporate African street, people on the street hear a phone ringing and everyone turns. The woman unbuttons her shirt, pulls out her phone and picks up her phone. The camera zooms in the on phone. It’s slim, has a camera, definitely has internet and an mp3 player. Oh yeah, I think they’d sell a lot of phones.

REPLYtrue story; a friend of mine used to keep her phone in her bra. then one day, she went jogging and it got water damage... from her perspiration. and i'll admit, i'd done the mobile-in-bra thing before, this was the incident that changed my perspective
