where i have been
I went to Forks again. And loved it again. Fell head over heels in love with fairy tales again. Still enjoying that bright eyed belief in prince charming, albeit with fangs, before I head back to the real world again.

And then I went to the Ukraine and learnt about tractors, and family, and real world love where women marry to get citizenship, sisters stop talking over inheritance, family history is subject to who's telling it and how it all works out in the end...and liked the gritty real world feel of it.
Then I came here but my sisters had first dibs so I snuck a chapter or six and was enchanted...can't wait till it gets back from mbarara so I can finish it!
And I wish had never gone here. It wasn't scary. It wasn't thrilling. It was a major let down. The title is the most climatic event. Really it would have been better if they added one big sex scene in the middle and made it a Mills &Boon mystery extravaganza. Atleast then all the lengthy 3 page descriptions of flaming hair, and chiselled chins would have become useful! my only pleasure was the fact that it was a novel and I was turning pages.
happy new year blogosphere!

You have been to nice places. Do you want to know about journals, 'pioneers', 'experts' and 'advocates'? I miss reading real stuff, terribly. :-(
